Once the oven is nice and warm, pop the tray in and heat your pie for about 15 – 20 minutes. If your oven has a broiler function, take the cover off and turn the broiler up prior to taking it out to crisp up the surface of the pie.

The Skillet

A skillet with a cover or even a Dutch oven, is probably the best way to heat this humongous pie!

To heat your deep-dish pizza, grease your skillet and raise the heat to medium. Add your pies in and cover it for 4-5 minutes—if you can fit the entire pie, then even better! If possible, then place the walls of the crust along the wall of the skillet; not only does it heat faster, but you can also get the crust back to its original crispiness!
